Job Description

The internship starts on September 4th 2023, and is for a period of 5-6 months. 

To start with, the position of Global eCommerce L’OR & TASSIMO Intern sits comfortably in the creative heart of the DTC (Direct To Consumer) eCommerce Team. An incredible diverse team that helps each other learn, grow and develop. Just how we like it! And as a Global eCommerce L’OR & TASSIMO Intern you will support the content team with all kinds of creative assets for the website, including writing texts for inspirational and product pages. Also, you will think along and execute creative designs for the website. For this, we don’t just need you to be a knowledgeable professional but also strongly rely on your interpersonal skills as well as your drive for success. Know that you’ll have a crucial role in creating and protecting the impact we look for in our value chain. With this said we like you to take responsibility over the following tasks:

  • Copywriting: writing for search engines and inspirational content (e.g. you will manage the SEO focused copy to get new consumers in)
  • You will be responsible for the development of the content material both independently in collaboration with external stakeholders
  • Ensure a great customer experience through updating the content of our entire L’OR and Tassimo assortment (e.g. be the one who discovers that images aren’t up to date anymore and have them briefed and implemented correctly)
  • Work on your own e-commerce project and initiatives (e.g. improve SEO traffic, new artwork creations)

Qualifications

We do, of course, take into consideration your interest in marketing and creative communication and your English communication skills, but ultimately we look at the bigger picture. But to give you a bit of guidance as to what we feel is needed in this role, we’ll share our “nice to have” list with you:

  • Attention to detail and well-organized, able to handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Have outstanding results in study and in broader curricular activities like: sports, associations or your own business, are eager to learn and have a hands-on mentality.
  • Experience and/or affinity with e-commerce/digital marketing
  • Experience with JIRA and/or Adobe Photoshop is a plus

Important: To be considered as a candidate for this internship, 

  • EU/EEA students: you need to be enrolled at a University for the whole duration of the internship and this needs to be a mandatory part of your study curriculum.
  • Non-EU/EEA students: you need to be enrolled at a Dutch University and your university needs to sign the Nuffic Agreement. The internship needs to be a compulsory part of your studies (eg, receive ECTS in turn).

Internship Allowance 

  • Based on a fulltime 40 hour workweek, the monthly internship allowance is € 450,- for a HBO student or € 500,- for a WO student, additionally, you will get paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.  
  • Monthly Commuting allowance: 
  • In principle, you will be using your student public transportation card (student OV-chipcard /studentenreisproduct) for daily commuting.  
  • If you are not eligible for the student OV-chipcard, JDE offers a commuting allowance. Compensation for commuting expenses, starting from a minimum distance of 5 kilometers one way, up to a maximum of: 
  • 35 kilometers à € 19ct per km (according to the temporary arrangement) when travelling by own transportation 
  • 45 kilometers (max. € 294.50 based on public transport fees) per month for travel by public transportation. 
  • Should you relocate to the city of your based office (Amsterdam or Utrecht), you will receive a monthly relocation compensation of up to a maximum of € 175. In this case, the commuting allowance will be not applicable. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
