Within our Global Professional Marketing team, you will be part of the Category team, with an specific focus on sustainability. You will be:

1. Supporting the Beans and Liquid coffee category on projects and brand activities in area of:

  • Packaging design / artwork process
  • Marketing communication materials like brochures and selling stories
  • Internal communication like Newsletter and engagement activation
  • Collaboration with agencies

2. Working on a sustainable packaging project from a Global Marketing perspective which focuses on converting our current packaging material into recyclable material. You will:

  • Align with the local markets involved
  • Assist within the design process

3. Driving internal engagement to establish continuous awareness for key priorities (e.g. the sustainability agenda) across the markets Jacobs Douwe Egberts Professional operates in. Helping to set up a communication calendar for this.

To be successful in this role you need to: 

  • Be currently following a Bachelor/Master degree in Marketing/Management (only students still registered at college (HBO) or university (WO) during the whole internship period will be considered)
  • Be fluent in English in both speaking and writing
  • Have a hands-on, pro-active, and eager to learn mentality and act with a sense of urgency
  • Have a decent balance of analytical, social and creative skills
  • Have good Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Have experience within the FMCG market is not mandatory but would be an advantage

Additional Information

The monthly internship allowance is € 500,- for a WO student, based on a fulltime 40 hour workweek. For this internship at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS PROFESSIONAL a standard compensation applies. This internship is for a period of 6 months, starting in February-March 2022, 5 or 4 days a week. If regulations allow, you will be working at the Jacobs Douwe Egberts Professional headquarters based in Utrecht.
