Job Description

The internship starts in September, and is for a period of 5-6 months.

To start with, the position of Global Talent Acquisition Intern sits comfortably in the HR department. An incredible diverse team that helps each other learn, grow and develop. Just how we like it! And as a Global Talent Acquisition Intern you will be asked to coordinating calendars and scheduling interviews between candidates, recruiters, and hiring teams and managing the full recruitment cycle for internships. For this, we don’t just need you to be a knowledgeable professional but also strongly rely on your interpersonal skills as well as your drive for success. Know that you’ll have a crucial role in creating and protecting the impact we look for in our value chain. With this said we like you to take responsibility over the following tasks:

  • Managing the assessment process with our external provider;
  • Performing miscellaneous tasks relating to Employer Branding;
  • Publishing job ads on internal and external job boards;
  • Manage IHQ trainings and help out with communications; 
  • Improve & help out with current on-going projects 

Qualifications

We do, of course, take into consideration how much experience you have with excellent communication and people skills and (fluent English both in speaking and writing but ultimately we look at the bigger picture. Important: To be considered as a candidate for this internship,

  • You are  enrolled at a Dutch University - ideally studying Communication/ Marketing/ Human Resources (or related) and based in the Netherlands;
  • Available to work 5-6 months as of September 2023 for a minimum 4 days a week;
  • EU/EEA students: you need to be enrolled at a University for the whole duration of the internship and this needs to be a mandatory part of your study curriculum.
  • Non-EU/EEA students: you need to be enrolled at a Dutch University and your university needs to sign the Nuffic Agreement. The internship needs to be a compulsory part of your studies (eg, receive ECTS in turn).

Internship Allowance

Based on a fulltime 40 hour workweek, the monthly internship allowance is € 450,- for a HBO student or € 500,- for a WO student, additionally, you will get paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.

Monthly Commuting allowance:

  • In principle, you will be using your student public transportation card (student OV-chipcard /studentenreisproduct) for daily commuting.
  • If you are not eligible for the student OV-chipcard, JDE offers a commuting allowance. Compensation for commuting expenses, starting from a minimum distance of 5 kilometres one way, up to a maximum of:

50 kilometers à € 21ct per km (according to the temporary arrangement) when travelling by own transportation;

  • Full reimbursement for travel by public transportation.

Should you relocate to the city of your based office (Amsterdam or Utrecht), you will receive a monthly relocation compensation of up to a maximum of € 175. In this case, the commuting allowance will be not applicable. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.

Timeline and dates to be aware of:

19th May - Vacancy will close

Between 29th of May and 2nd June 2023 – If positive outcome, you will receive an online SHL assessment

6th June 2023 – end of day due date online assessment

15-20th June - If Positive, you will have the video interviews with the hiring manager

22-23th June - If positive - contract stage

04th September - Start of internship
